New features of the Workshop App for 2024 include:
- Bookings can now be received into the workshop, via the app. You will need to have access to the Advisor section of the app and the booking in question, will need to have labour lines created. Bookings made within 30 days will show.
- When a booking is received into the workshop via the app, there is a new signature feature for the customer to complete. The labour can then be assigned straight to a Technician to start working on.
- Job Cards which have been marked as “Customer Waiting” or “Collection or Delivery” will now be colour coded on the app to match the DMS
- Internal notes will now be displayed by default on the Technicians task list
- The Brake Measurements and Tyre Tread Depth checks on a VHC have been reordered
- Caravan and Saloon layouts added to the Condition Reports
- New setting which prevents Technicians being able to send VHC videos to customers. Within the DMS go to Settings > System > Employee > Select the Employee Record > Access Rights > Apps > Can Send VHC Videos
- New setting that can prevent Technicians from Clocking In or Clocking On to a job when they are not within a certain distance to the business premises location.
