Sage50 Accounts – Recommended data limits

To ensure your Sage50 data is optimised for performance, Sage has set some recommended data limits for Sage50 Accounts. Adhering to these limits will also improve the Sage Integration from DragonDMS.

For optimal performance Sage recommend:

  • Fewer than 250,000 transactions
  • Fewer than 5,000 customer records
  • Fewer than 5,000 supplier records

Sage50 Accounts has as a built in Data Management tool which will prompt you to backup your data, before offering suggestions of how to optimise your data.

Sage recommends that you only store digital records for the current and previous year in your live company.

Having taken a backup, you will be presented with suggestions to get your data back within the recommended data limits.
