Running Sage Integration

To post transactions from the DragonDMS through to Sage, you need to run a Sage Integration. From the main screen go to Accounts > Integrate – you will see the date and time the last Sage Integration was ran, the name of the machine it was ran on and the amount of time the integration took.

You will also see the transactions that are currently set to post through to Sage from the DragonDMS. Please see the ‘Setting up Sage Integration’ help document which details how to select which transactions are posted to Sage. You will also see the date that the DragonDMS will post transactions from.

Running integration

To run the Sage Integration, click the Update button. The Sage Integration will then begin.

When the Sage Integration has finished, you will get the following message which tells you how long the Sage Integration took:

sage integration time

Please note that the time the Sage Integration takes may vary depending on (i) how often the integration is ran and (ii) network speeds if the Sage program data is on another machine in your network and not on the same machine the Sage Integration is ran on.

Transactions Not Posted (TNP) Report

When the Sage Integration has completed, there may be some transactions which have not been posted through to Sage. If this is the case, a TNP Report will pop up detailing which transactions haven’t been posted, and the reasons why.

The TNP Report will be split into two sections: ‘Issues you can resolve yourself’ and ‘Issues you need to discuss with Dragon2000’.

Issues you can resolve yourself

Under the ‘Issues you can resolve yourself’ heading, the report will tell you how to resolve the issues – follow the instructions and run another Sage Integration and the transactions should then post through to Sage and will no longer show on the TNP Report.

Issues you need to discuss with Dragon2000

Please contact Dragon2000 Support on 01327 222 333 if there are any transactions listed under ‘Issues you need to discuss with Dragon2000’ and they will be happy to assist you.

Sage Integration Date

The Sage integration date determines which transactions will be sent through to Sage. Any transactions in the DragonDMS that you have created before the Sage integration date will NOT be posted to Sage.

Your integration date will usually be the date you first start using the DragonDMS, or the date you want to start posting transactions into Sage. The integration date is a three month rolling date. This means that on the date you run an integration, it will only post transactions as far back as three months prior to that date.
