How to record a prospects Vehicle Interests, Current Vehicles and Desired Vehicles against a CRM Enquiry Record.
Vehicle Interests
A Vehicle Interest is a vehicle that you currently have in stock that a prospect has expressed an interest in.
Within an enquiry record, click on Vehicle Interests > Record Interest. A list of your current stock vehicles will be displayed. Click on the vehicle (or select multiple vehicles) that the prospect has expressed an interest in.
Once a vehicle interest has been recorded, the vehicle record will display how many people are interested.
You can also report on your popular vehicles by going to Reports > Used Vehicle Sales > CRM > Popular Vehicles. This will show any stock vehicles that have an interest recorded against them, including the prospects details.
Desired Vehicles
If a prospect is looking for a vehicle that you do not currently have in stock, you can record this against their enquiry record as a Desired Vehicle.
From within the enquiry record, click on Desired Vehicles > Add Vehicle. On the form, you can enter as little or as much information about the vehicle that the prospect is looking for. The more information entered, the more your search will be narrowed down.
Once a vehicle has been added, the DMS will do some searches.
- It will check against all of your current stock vehicles to make sure you don’t already have a stock vehicle that matches the Desired Vehicle criteria.
- It will check against all of your current prospects that have a Current Vehicle recorded against their record to see if this matches the Desired Vehicle criteria.
- If you enter a new vehicle into stock that matches the Desired Vehicle criteria, Dragon will display a message to advise that you have prospects in the system that may be interested in this vehicle.
You can also report on your Desired vehicles by going to Reports > Used Vehicle Sales > CRM > Desirable Vehicles Report. This will show details of any Desired Vehicles that have been logged against your open prospect records.
Current Vehicles
In an enquiry record, you can record the details of a prospect’s current vehicle which they may want to part exchange as part of the sale.
With an enquiry record click on Current Vehicle > Add Vehicle. Enter the Vehicle Registration and click Lookup to obtain the vehicle details.
Once a current vehicle has been logged, the DMS will do a search against all of your current prospects to see if any of them have this vehicle recorded as a Desired Vehicle.
