Image Editor

The DragonDMS Image Editor allows you to add banners and effects to your images ready for advertising.

How does it work?

In a Vehicle Record, upload your photos via Advertising > Photos. Once uploaded, hover over the image you would like to change and click Edit.

The Image Editor will then be displayed:

Adding a Banner

Banners can be added to your image to make important messages about that vehicle stand out to your customers.

Step 1 – Use the arrow buttons to position where on the image you would like the banner to be displayed

Step 2 – Add the banner text

You can then use the other options available to customise your banner further:

Font, Size, Font Colour, Background Colour

Advanced Banner Options – This allows you to add a shadow effect to your banner and change the positioning

If the banner you have created will be used on a regular basis, it can be saved for future use by clicking Save as Preset. Enter the name of your banner and Save Preset. The banner will then be saved in your Presets list so it can be easily added to another image.

Adding a Watermark

This will allow you to add your company logo to your images. Click on the Watermark tab and choose a file to upload. Use the arrows to select the positioning of your watermark.

Use the Opacity to change the transparency of the watermark and the Scale to change the size.

If the watermark will be used on a regular basis, click on Save as Preset. This will then be saved in your list of Presets to be easily added to another image.

Bulk Editing

If you want to apply the same banner or image to multiple images, select each of the images and click on Edit Images

Add a watermark, banner of preset to the images and then click on Overwrite Existing to apply to each of the images.

All the selected images will now have the watermark/ banner applied.

Saving your changes

Once you have made all of the edits to your image, there are a few options available:

Overwrite Existing – This will apply and save the changes that you have made and will overwrite the original image uploaded.

Save as a Duplicate – This will keep the original image uploaded and create a new image with the changes that have been made.
