Finance Integration with Codeweavers

This feature will allow you to instantly retrieve finance quotes alongside your stock and manage the resulting proposals from within one place, saving huge amounts of time jumping from system to system and re-keying important data.

Monthly payment budget searches can also be performed across the entirety of your stock to discover which vehicles best match customer’s requirements and affordability. Once the perfect quote has been tailored to suit, you are then able to quickly submit the proposal to the lender from within the DMS.

The integration of Finance Proposals is a powerful tool. Every single finance application submitted (whether it’s generated from within the DMS, your own website, or any other third party that has your Codeweavers finance calculator) will be pulled through into the CRM section and linked to both the customer’s enquiry record and the vehicle stock record, allowing your sales team to act fast and track, manage and close the sales opportunity.

Accessing the Finance Calculator

The Finance Calculator can be accessed from within the Used Vehicles Module, Vehicle Sales CRM and a CRM Enquiry Record making it easily accessible at each stage of the car sales process.

When clicking on the Finance Calculator from within any of these locations, you will have the option to search for Finance Quotes either based on a specific vehicle or by a customer’s available monthly budget.

The Vehicle Finance option allows you to search for finance quotes based on the vehicle the customer is interested in.

Click on Select Vehicle to display a list of your current stock vehicles where you can search for and select the relevant one.  This will pull across the description and price from the vehicle record.

Enter the customer’s preferred deposit, term and annual mileage then click Get Quotes.  A list will be displayed of potential lenders and product types along with the payment details:

The Budget Search function allows you to search for suitable vehicles from your current stock list based on the customer’s monthly affordability.

Enter the customer’s minimum and maximum payment options along with their preferred deposit, term and annual mileage and click Budget Search.

This will return a list of any stock vehicles where the lender can match their monthly budget expectations:

If a customer indicates any specific information they would like you to search for (based on their monthly budget, e.g. make, model etc) you have the option to apply a filter to your search.  Click Filter and enter the relevant criteria.  Once completed, click Search.

This will return a list of available vehicles based on the search criteria entered and their monthly budget.

Applying for Finance

Once you have discussed the appropriate finance options with your customer, you can apply straight from within DragonDMS by clicking on Apply Now next to the relevant finance option.

If you are using the Finance Calculator from within the Used Vehicles Module or Vehicle Sales CRM, Dragon will firstly ask you to select the Customer the proposal is for.  You can either search across your existing contacts or create a new one.

Once the customer has been selected or created, the relevant proposal will be added to the customer’s enquiry record and this will then show in your open prospects within the CRM:

This will also open the Codeweavers application form within your web browser:

To start the application process, you will firstly need to click Continue to the Privacy Policy.  Once this has been done, you will then be able to enter the customer’s details for each section. As and when a section has been completed, a green tick will appear to indicate all of the fields have been populated:

Editing a Proposal

If you are not able to complete the online application at that time, from within the customer’s enquiry record you have the option to Edit Proposal.  This will take you back to the Codeweavers web page where you can continue to complete the relevant information to fully submit the application.

Viewing a Proposal

From within the enquiry record, you also have the option to View Proposal.

In order to view the proposal, the Personal Details section of the application must have been completed. If this is still yet to be done, a message will appear confirming the proposal is still pending:

Once the application has been fully completed and submitted, the View Proposal will show all of the details of the finance proposal including any updates:

Finance Applications via your Website

For any customer that submits a finance application via your website, these will also be linked straight to your DragonDMS so you can keep up to date with the progress of the proposals.

From within the CRM and open prospects, there is now a sub menu for Latest Finance Proposals.  This will show you a list of all of your latest proposals from both your Website and your DragonDMS.

Any proposals submitted via your website (or any other third party that has your Codeweavers plugin) will show in red. In addition an email will be sent to advise that you have a new finance proposal from a third party:

By double clicking on the proposal you will be able to link this to an existing or new enquiry record.

Finance Settings within Dragon

Settings > Vehicle Sales > Finance

This is where the default finance parameters can be edited:

Settings > Employees > Employee Name > Access Rights > Other > Can Create, View and Edit Finance Proposals

This setting enables the user to retrieve finance quotes, complete the application and also edit and view the proposal.  If not applied, a user will be able to retrieve quotes to discuss with the customer but will not be able to submit the application or edit the details.

Adding the Finance Calculator to Sales Videos

If you use Dragon APPraise to record and send sales videos then we can add the finance calculator at the bottom of the web page that hosts the sales video. This allows prospective customers to view and apply for finance directly from the sales video.

Please contact us if you would like this feature enabled:
