The DragonDMS Finance Calculator is a tool which allows you to easily calculate finance examples for a stock vehicle.
The figures are an indication only and there may be additional fees. A full written quotation is still required from the finance company.
Default settings
From within Settings > Vehicle Sales > Finance you will see your default settings. Here you can edit your Flat rate, Admin Fees and Option to Purchase Fee.
Creating a finance quote
The Finance Calculator can be found from New/Used Vehicles > Finance Calculator tab. The calculator will then open as follows:
Select the stock vehicle you wish to do the finance calculation on by using the dropdown list. The Finance Amount will automatically populate to be the selling price of the vehicle you have chosen.
Term – select the term from the dropdown box, if the term is more than 60 months you can enter the term and press enter.
Deposit – enter the deposit amount
The Representative Hire Purchase quote will then be calculated based on the details entered.
The Representative APR is a value that is calculated from all the other inputs and can’t be edited.
Click Create Prospect, complete the prospect’s details and then you will be taken into the Deal Stacker and the finance information will be pulled through.
