DragonDMS – May 2018

New DragonDMS features include card machine integration, new GDPR features, Telephone Preference Service integration, new Auto Trader leads integration and much more

Paymentsense Integration

Dragon2000 have teamed up with card payment company Paymentsense, Europe’s largest merchant service provider, to allow you to take card payments through your DragonDMS.

Providing you are a customer of Dragon2000, you can switch from your current card payment provider and you’ll get Paymentsense card terminals to replace your existing machines for FREE, so no monthly rental charge whatsoever, for life.

Integrating your card machine into your DragonDMS is free, simply call our Sales Team on 01327 222 333 (option 2) so they can get you set up.

For more information on how the integration works, view our Paymentsense help article.

GDPR Features

For more information regarding the new features to keep you GDPR compliant, view our GDPR help article.

New features include:

  • We can now offer GDPR data cleanses – contact our Sales Team for more information.
  • Our new Customer Consent Portal enables your contacts to update their own marketing preferences via a website – this is then saved into their record in your DMS – contact our Sales Team for more information.
  • Telephone Preference Service (TPS) Integration – instantly see if a number you have for a contact is listed on the TPS. Turning this feature on will make all TPS numbers red in your system and warn you when adding a new one – contact our Sales Team for more information.
  • There is a new setting that requires you to seek Marketing Consent from new customers.
  • Editing a contact’s Marketing Consent will now log the changes and who made them.
  • DragonDMS will prompt you to gain re-consent from a contact after a given period of time (you can set this period in Settings).
  • Right of Access – you can now provide a customer with all of the information you hold on them if requested.
  • Right to Erasure – you can now fully remove a contact from your system if requested.
  • Data Capture Print Out –  to help you capture your customers’ marketing preferences, you can print a data capture form for your customer to complete with their details and consent.
  • Report Audit – any report printing or exporting from within the DragonDMS is now tracked (including Customer Mailshots).  This will allow you to see which reports have been run, the criteria used, the method (PDF, Print, CSV), the date and employee that completed the action.

Auto Trader Lead Integration

In the latest version of DragonDMS, you can now receive all of your vehicle leads from Auto Trader directly into your CRM section for your Sales Team to view and track from initial enquiry right through to sale.

For more information about this, view our Auto Trader Leads help article.
