The latest version of DragonDMS includes the new 2025 Branding, Clover Payment Links and Clover Dashboard, along with other improvements and fixes.
Clover Payment Links
Payment links are now available for dealer using Clover. Payment links can be sent for deposit or balance payments.
To send a payment link, go into the relevant transaction (booking, service, parts invoice, vehicle sales record or accounts invoice) and click to take payment/ take deposit. Then click on Payment Link.
Payment links can be send via email or text message. The customer can then click on the link and make their payment online.
Clover Dashboard
The Clover dashboard has been added to allow you to view all of the Clover payments and refunds that have been processed via DragonDMS.
The Clover dashboard is within the Accounts Module. To view the Clover dashboard users will need to be granted the Can access the Clover Dashboard access right.
Payment and refunds will be listed in each tab, date range can be changed be editing the from and to dates.
Transactions can be searched by customer name, date, amount and transaction description.
Only users who have the access right Can refund Clover payments will be allowed to process a refund back to the card holders card.
Update Selling Price when Advert Price is updated
In this release we will be enabling a new setting for all DragonDMS and DragonPortal customers, to update the selling price of a vehicle when the Advert Price is updated. This will ensure that both the selling price and advert price are aligned.
The exception to this is where the vehicle record has a customer attached, if the advert price is updated the selling price won’t update.
If you do not wish to have this setting enabled you can disable by going to Settings > Vehicle Sales > Defaults > Vehicle
