DragonDMS 2024 – February 2024

New DragonDMS features for 2024 include:

Vehicle Sales

  • Users can now select if the following information is displayed on their Vehicle Sales invoices:
    • Wheel Nut
    • Warranty No
    • Order No
    • Immobiliser
    • Radio Code
    • Key No

This can be done within Settings > Vehicle Sales > Defaults > Invoices.

  • Select which Advertisers you would like displayed on your Advertising Sites list within Settings > Advertising > 3rd Party > Advertisers.
  • MOT Due Dates can be colour coded to help identify those that are nearing their due date within Settings > Vehicle Sales > Settings > Stock Alerts > MOT Alerts
  • When using the copy function of a vehicle record within the New Vehicles section of the DMS, you will now be given a list of items that can be copied including Supplier Details, Purchase Price, Selling Price, Customer Details and more.
  • Bulk edit images to add watermarks or banners to multiple images.

CRM & Contacts

  • Contact details including telephone number and email address can now be copied from a pending enquiry.
  • Notes recorded against a follow up will now show the name of the employee who has left the note.
  • Custom fields can be created for contact records.

Service

  • Technician and Customer signatures can be removed from the printed service job card within Settings > Service > Settings > Invoices. Under the Job Card Style section, untick Show Signature Boxes.
  • Workshop Loading – if you are splitting jobs between bays on the Workshop Loading diary, these splits can now be deleted by right clicking on the job and clicking delete.

Email Integration

The new Email Integration feature will allow you to link your email account to the DMS. When emails are sent from or sent to the linked email account, if the email address matches a contact record within your DMS, the email will be automatically stored to that contact record.

The following email account types can be supported:

  • Exchange – Outlook, Exchange or Hotmail Accounts
  • Gmail – Gmail / Google Mail Accounts
  • Other – any other email account provider

Instructions for Setting up Email Integration

Stripe

  • When sending payments links to customers via SMS, the default text can be amended in Settings > System > Stripe > Default SMS Text.
