Dragon2000 Workshop App Overview

The Workshop app is fully integrated with DragonDMS and can be downloaded onto Android or Apple mobile phones or tablets. The app includes digital job cards, eliminating the need to print and hand out jobs to your technicians. In the app, tasks assigned to a technician will immediately appear in their task list. Service advisors have real time tracking of technician’s attendance and current activity, and can quickly and easily reassign tasks or add new tasks to technicians.

The Workshop app also includes electronic Vehicle Health Checks and interactive vehicle condition reports, making this a great tool for eliminating paper jobs cards and a must for mobile technicians working remotely.

The Workshop app requires an additional subscription, please contact our sales team on 01327 222 333 (option 2) if you are interested.

Technicians

Technicians clock onto labour lines, not the job as a whole. For tasks to show for a technician they need to be assigned to a labour line. In the Workshop app, labour lines are referred to as Tasks.

The To Do list shows all tasks (labour lines) allocated to the technician.

With just a tap, tasks can be clocked onto, clocked off and marked as complete. Technicians can also clock onto non productive tasks and view their previously completed tasks.

From the app, technicians can view additional task details, previous clockings and job card details. Technicians can add comments directly onto a task, and these comments appear in real time in DragonDMS.

Service Advisors

Service advisors have a dashboard to view all jobs in progress, completed jobs and unassigned tasks. Advisors can reorder/reassign technician tasks and add new tasks to jobs in progress as required.

Service advisors also have a technician overview. This shows the current technician activity and highlights technicians working on tasks that have gone over the estimated time, or technicians showing as idle.

Notifications

Notifications are sent to technicians when they have 10% time remaining on a task, a further notification will be sent to both the technician and service advisor when the estimated time is exceeded.

Vehicle Health Checks

Technicians can use the Workshop app to carry out comprehensive Vehicle Health Checks. Vehicle Health Checks can be setup and tailored to suit your needs in DragonDMS.

Technicians can add comments and photos to any of the checks. In addition to the standard checks, technicians can record videos of the vehicle which can be sent by text or email to the vehicle owners. Once complete, the VHC will be uploaded to DragonDMS where any emerging work can be priced up.

Condition Reports

Condition reports can be carried out on service vehicles or courtesy vehicles to mark up any existing damage. Select a vehicle style and tap on the vehicle to indicate the type and severity of the damage.

All condition reports are date and time stamped. Once complete, the condition report will be uploaded to DragonDMS and can be emailed to the vehicle owner.

Training video
