In each of the modules, you can easily sort and order your menu lists such as Stock Vehicle list, Service Work In Progress list, Customers and Parts lists.
Sorting
Decide which column you want to sort by, click on the column heading to sort the list Z to A, click on the column heading again to sort A to Z. If the column contains numbers, it will sort highest to lowest first and then lowest to highest.
Re-ordering
The order of the columns can be changed by dragging and dropping the column headings, allowing you to get the menu lists the way you want it.
To ‘drag‘ click and hold the left mouse button and at the same time move the mouse, when you get to the position you want you can ‘drop’ by releasing the left mouse button.
Click on a column heading and drag left or right until you see two red arrows where you want the column to be, and then drop the column heading.
If you drag a column heading away e.g. either up or down, you will see a black cross which means the column will be removed when you drop the column heading.
Additional Information
You can add additional fields that can be viewed on the screen. Right click on any of the column headings and a list will appear showing the column headings available. Please note, the available fields shown in the example below are for the Car Sales module.
Drag and drop the column headings to add them to your list.
After you have re-ordered, added or removed columns, the new list layout will be saved. The new layout will be displayed each time you log in to DragonDMS. Each individual user can personalise the layout to suit their needs.
