Auto Trader Lead Integration

Overview

You can automatically receive all of your leads from Auto Trader directly into your CRM section.

Integration of Auto Trader leads into your DragonDMS has the following benefits:

  • No need to re-key the lead details from Auto Trader into your DragonDMS.
  • Minimises the chance of a Sales Executive failing to chase up the lead.
  • Allows you to monitor your sales conversions from Auto Trader more accurately.

Setup

To set this up, contact our support team support@dragon2000.co.uk and request that you would like AutoTrader Lead Integrations enabled.

We will contact AutoTrader on your behalf and get this setup.

Incoming Leads from Auto Trader

To view any new Auto Trader Leads, navigate to:

Sales CRM > Prospecting > Open Prospects > Pending Enquiries

Here you will see all of the leads from both your own website (if you have a Dragon2000 built website) and your Auto Trader Leads. The first column will show you where the lead came from:

This menu will also show you the Enquiry Date, the lead’s name, contact information, a link to the vehicle they are interested in and any part exchange details.

Opening an Auto Trader Lead

Double clicking an Auto Trader lead from the Pending Enquiries menu will show you all of the details from Auto Trader, including the vehicle they are interested in, the part exchange information and the message:

As with Website Enquiries, you can also run HPI checks and CAP valuations against the Part Exchange vehicle before converting into a full enquiry.

Converting an Auto Trader Lead into a full Enquiry

To convert an Auto Trader Lead into an enquiry, click ‘Make Enquiry’ in the top right-hand corner of the lead record (the same way you would convert a website enquiry).

At this point, DragonDMS will ask you to select and confirm the Sales Executive that will be dealing with the lead before copying across all of their contact details, messages, the vehicle they are interested in and their part exchange details into the new enquiry record.

Once converted, your sales team are ready to start the sales process, recording follow ups, calendar events and sending sales videos.
