Advert Price is the price that is displayed on 3rd party advertisers like AutoTrader, Ebay Motors, Pistonheads, etc. as well as your Dragon2000 hosted Website.
Selling Price is the price that is used when creating a vehicle sales order form and vehicle sales invoice.
Advert price and Selling price are not linked by default, this is to ensure that changes made to the selling price when creating a sales order form don’t update the price that a vehicle is being advertised for.
We have recently added a setting that allows users to link the advert price to the selling price, only where the vehicle has no customer attached.
Settings > Vehicle Sales > Defaults > Vehicle > Selling Price Update
With this setting enabled editing the Advert price of a vehicle will update the Selling price of the vehicle, as long as there is no customer attached to the vehicle record.
